Privacy Policy
This policy explains how MAGOS TECHNOLOGIES handles information submitted through this website and how third-party technology is used when you choose M-TECH Remote Support.
MAGOS collects the information you choose to provide when you request service, uses it to respond and provide the requested work, and does not ask you to place passwords or financial credentials in the website request form. Remote support is optional and uses HopToDesk, whose separate privacy terms apply when its software or services are used.
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the public MAGOS TECHNOLOGIES website at magostechnologies.com, information submitted through its service-request features, and MAGOS's handling of information in connection with M-TECH Remote Support.
Third-party products and websites have their own privacy practices. When a third-party service is used, its terms and privacy policy apply in addition to this policy.
Service requests and direct communications
When you use the MAGOS service-request form, you may provide information such as:
- the service and request type you select;
- your name and email address;
- an optional telephone number and preferred contact method;
- system, business, project, or service details; and
- the description you submit about the problem, project, or requested work.
The form also uses anti-abuse challenge information needed to verify that a request is being submitted by a person rather than an automated system.
Do not submit passwords, account credentials, full payment-card information, financial login information, or other unnecessary sensitive data through the public request form.
Website operation and security
The public website may generate routine technical records needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and protect the site. Depending on the web host and server configuration, these records may include items such as an IP address, browser or user-agent information, request time, requested page or resource, and error or security-event information.
MAGOS does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts on the public website. Necessary server-side or session technologies may still be used to operate forms, human-verification controls, security features, or other site functions.
How information is used
MAGOS may use information you provide to:
- review and respond to service or project inquiries;
- communicate with you about requested work;
- diagnose technical problems and provide support;
- prepare project scope, estimates, documentation, or service records;
- operate and protect the website and prevent abuse; and
- meet legitimate business, accounting, dispute-resolution, or legal obligations.
MAGOS does not sell or rent customer personal information for third-party marketing.
M-TECH Remote Support and HopToDesk
M-TECH Remote Support uses HopToDesk, a third-party remote-desktop platform operated by HopToDesk / Begonia Holdings LLC. The M-TECH support installer may be delivered using HopToDesk-controlled infrastructure even when the download is initiated from the MAGOS website.
The custom M-TECH support client may enroll a device with the HopToDesk Dashboard so it can appear in MAGOS's managed-device list. HopToDesk states that enrolled devices may provide information including a device identifier, operating-system type and version, computer name, IP and MAC address, processor/memory/storage details, time zone, device-health information such as processor/memory/disk usage, uptime or battery level, and connection timestamps and duration.
HopToDesk also states that its remote-desktop App uses end-to-end encryption by default and that it does not collect, store, or have access to the content of remote-session screen video, keystrokes, chat messages, or file transfers. Those statements describe HopToDesk's service and are governed by HopToDesk's own policies.
Installing or using the remote-support software is optional. If you use it, you should also review HopToDesk's policies:
What a remote technician may see or control
During an authorized remote-support session, the connected MAGOS technician may be able to view information displayed on your screen and may be able to interact with applications, settings, files, or other parts of the computer as needed for the support work and as permitted by the remote-support software and session configuration.
Before a session begins, close or protect information that is unrelated to the requested support and that you do not want visible during the session. Do not provide passwords or other credentials unless they are genuinely required for the requested work and you understand why they are needed.
MAGOS TECHNOLOGIES will never unexpectedly contact you and demand remote access. If you did not request support or are unsure who is contacting you, do not run the remote-support client and contact MAGOS through the official website or telephone number.
Service providers and required disclosures
MAGOS may use service providers that are reasonably necessary to operate the website, deliver communications, host files, or provide remote-support functionality. These providers may process limited information as part of providing those services.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect the security or rights of MAGOS or others, investigate fraud or abuse, or address a dispute involving requested services.
MAGOS does not give unrelated third parties access to customer information for their own direct-marketing purposes.
How long information may be kept
MAGOS retains service-request and customer information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, perform or document the work, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, protect against abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Retention periods may vary according to the type of record and the circumstances.
Third-party providers, including HopToDesk, maintain information according to their own retention practices and policies.
Protecting information
MAGOS uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the size and nature of the business to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No website, network, remote-access product, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You can help reduce risk by sending only the information needed for your request, keeping credentials private, and starting remote-support sessions only after you have contacted MAGOS through an official channel.
Questions, corrections, and deletion requests
You may contact MAGOS to ask a privacy question or request correction or deletion of personal information you previously provided. Some information may need to be retained when reasonably necessary for active service work, legitimate business records, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
You may decline to use M-TECH Remote Support and discuss another support method when one is reasonably available.
Children's privacy
The MAGOS TECHNOLOGIES website and professional technology services are not directed to children under 13. MAGOS does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through the public service-request form.
Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated when website features, service providers, business practices, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted at this URL with its last-updated date.
Privacy questions
For questions about this policy or information you have provided to MAGOS, use the official MAGOS TECHNOLOGIES service-request page or call the business directly.
